“Create new value and new common sense”

―You also provide services for companies.

Yes. About three years ago, we started receiving more and more requests for consultations such as “we want to hire excellent students for new employment” and “we would like t o ask you to educate our workers about motivation and leadership.” That is a direct result of the appreciation that we understand students better than anyone else through our coaching approach at GBA, our job-hunting preparatory school, and that our students’ performance is very high. I am very grateful for that.

Our clients for employment support are growing ventures and superior small-to-medium- sized companies. We support them with
strategy design for new graduate hiring, clarification of personality requirements, concept making, definition of human resource requirements, design of information sessions and selection, and planning of unofficial job offer follow-ups and internships. For employee training, we also have some major companies as clients. We meet a wide range of needs, such as training for informally appointed workers before joining a company, new graduate training, motivation training for young workers, leadership training, and principle spreading training.

―Please tell us your vision for the future.

There are so many things we want to do. First, for job-hunting support for students, we will newly start “visions camp”, a will camp, in Okinawa in February, 2016. Also, in August, 2016, we are planning to establish a platform to help students polish their will. Among students with high awareness, we want them to create a place where they can develop friendly rivalries. We will also put our effort into services for companies. Based around the hiring field, my strong point, we want to be involved in the center of management, such as principle spreading and company branding, more than we are now. For that, we need to study much harder.

In addition, we a re now promoting “Creating new value and new common sense” as a theme. What we are working on as a par t of it is breaking down stereotypes about students’ abilities in fields considered impossible for them. This is a project that was born while we were involved in hiring consulting with a company. Actually, I have an achievement where I made a student salesperson get the best sales result, surpassing adults all over Japan. Same as that kind of case, we would like to change common sense five or ten years down the road by positively starting what no one in the world has done before.
